Dripp opening on November 17th
Dripp, a new coffee bar concept, is pleased to announce its flagship opening within The Shoppes at Chino Hills. Dripp aims to provide excellence in coffee brewing, service, and beans by sourcing products and methods both globally and with local talent. The Dripp experience involves the atmosphere inside the space – a blend of reclaimed treasures that fit into a modern aesthetic. Dripp’s décor is both entertaining and serene, an escape from everyday tedium into a world of comfort and curiosity. From the products to the design,
Dripp warmly invites friends to join in its creative process. “My uncle had a coffee bar, and roasted his own beans. My aunt knew how to read Turkish coffee cups. Growing up in different countries and cultures made me think about what brings people together,” says entrepreneur and Dripp Founder, Rabih Sater. “I wanted to create a new kind of coffee experience, one with the feel of an art gallery or a sophisticated boutique hotel where friendly service and an inspired atmosphere come together with food and drink.” Sater has lived in Southern California since he was a toddler, but embarked upon a national and international quest to put together his boutique coffee bar concept. Dripp is an expression of Sater’s passions for good food, drink and unique spaces that encourage conversation and conviviality.
At its Steam Bar, Dripp offers specialty coffee from Intelligentsia and Espresso Republic. Over a custom built Japanese drip bar, baristas brew every individual cup of coffee by hand after freshly grinding the guest’s preferred bean. All espresso drinks are made on manual machines using traditional recipes, in keeping with a true espresso bar. The Black Goat—Espresso Republic’s signature blend of cardamom-infused Turkish coffee—is strong and intriguing on the palette. Two Japanese Oji coffee drippers, extremely rare in the U.S., are constantly dripping to make exceptional iced coffee. For the tea aficionado, their fine selection of Harney & Sons is ready for enjoyment.
The unusual twist to Dripp’s coffee bar concept is their Cream Bar, where premium ice creams are displayed alongside freshly baked cookies. Guests can order The Dripp—any two selected cookies with a scoop of their favorite ice cream between, a nostalgic ice cream sandwich ready for all ages to enjoy.
Dripp opens to the public on Thursday, November 17. The bar hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Cream Bar opens daily at 11:00 a.m.
